General Fabrication

Using our modern purpose built workshop we are able to service all are clients needs. We have fully coded welders to AS 1545 part 5 and AS 2980.

Detailed drafting

STL's drafting service can work with the Project Engineer and architect to provide detailed fabrication drawings as required for your project. 

Surface treatment

STL offer various surface treatments to the steel supplied for projects including Galvanising, Blast and Primer in Organic Zinc, Powder Coating and One, Two or Three coat painting system as required.

On Site Installation, Maintenance and Shut Down Work

STL Engineering has on site vehicles, fully equiped trailers and site containers. A team of experienced riggers, boilermakers and welders, we offer a comprehensive "on site" service backed up by our modern workshop facilities.

Structural Fabrication

STL fabricate steel for the local construction industries, mining, offshore and civil engineering companies. STL provide drafting facilities through to fabrication, surface treatment and site erection.

Pipe Fabrication

Detailing, supply, manufacture and installation of all types of spooling to various codes as well as pressure vessels.

Welding, Inspection and NDT

Welding qualifications and procedures can be tailored to individual clients requirements as well as complete inspection and test services and stress relieving if required. Welder qualifications and Procedure/Quality manual is available on request.

Safety and Occupational Health

The company has a documented policy which is available at your request, but in principal it is a management requirement to:

• Provide a safe work place through provision of all necessary facilities.
• Employ qualified personnel at ALL times
• Train employees in safe work practices.
• Supervise and plan works adequately.
• Abide statutory regulations "Occupational Safety and Health 1996 and Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995".
